Promethist for Claude
Promethist for Claude lets you work in Promethist Studio through a conversation with Claude. You describe what you want — "create a coaching agent for our sales team", "why did the agent fail in yesterday’s conversations?", "invite Anna to the onboarding project as an editor" — and Claude carries it out with Promethist’s tools, asking you before anything irreversible happens.
It consists of two parts:
- The Promethist MCP server
-
A remote MCP server hosted by Promethist in each region. Claude connects to it like to any other connector, signs in with your Promethist account and calls its tools. Nothing is installed on your computer, and the server only ever acts as you.
- The Promethist plugin for Claude
-
A plugin, provided by Promethist, that registers the Promethist connectors in Claude together with skills: one that teaches Claude how to work with Promethist and pick the right region, and skills for preparing knowledge documents, testing and improving agents, and turning evaluation results into reports. The plugin installs no server and contains no credentials. You can also connect the MCP server without it.
What Claude Can Do
-
Build agents — create and edit agents from a description or a template, choose voices and avatars, review an agent against Promethist’s quality rubric, and move it from draft to preview to published.
-
Work with project assets — knowledge sources from web pages and documents, interactive content, integrations with your own systems (webhooks and MCP servers) and connectors.
-
Evaluate and test — design evaluations and their output data, create simulated users, run test suites and read their results, and hold live test conversations with an agent.
-
Understand usage — read the analytics of a project, look up conversations and their transcripts, and export data for further analysis.
-
Manage the workspace — accounts, projects, members and invitations; read subscriptions, invoices and usage.
The full list is in Tools. What Claude may actually do depends on your role in each account and project (Sign-In and Permissions).
What You Need
-
The sign-in you use for Promethist Studio, with access to at least one account or project in the region you connect to.
-
Claude — on the web, Claude Desktop (including Cowork) or Claude Code — on a plan that allows you to add connectors.
-
To use the plugin: the plugin, from Promethist.
How It Works
When Claude connects for the first time, it is asked to sign in, and opens the Promethist sign-in page in your browser. You sign in as you do in the Studio, and from then on Claude calls the server’s tools with your identity. Every call is checked against your current roles, exactly as if you had made the change in the Studio.
Before working in an area — agents, knowledge, evaluations, analytics — Claude loads the matching operating guide from the server. The guides are maintained by Promethist and change with the platform, so Claude’s knowledge of Promethist stays current without any update on your side.
